Marguerite and D.D. Young opened the Easy Pay Tire Store on the corner of Arch and Gum Streets in downtown Searcy, August 1938. In October, 1965 the business moved to a larger facility at 107 North Gum and became Young’s Wholesale Tire Company. D.D., D.D. Jr. and Bob Young stepped in to run the family business. In 1999, DD Jr. retired and Bob was joined by sons Rob and Greg as the family company made a third expansion and became what you have today, Young’s Tire and Auto. The Company, in business for 65 years, continues to provide honest and dependable service at factory direct prices on most major brands of tires. Young’s Tire and Auto, located at 511 South Main street, now has 10 service bays and 20,000 square feet of floor space.
