In August, 1938, Marguerite and D.D. Young opened the Easy Pay Tire Store in downtown Searcy, Arkansas. The business moved to a larger facility in 1965, when it became Young’s Wholesale Tire Company. At that time, D.D. Young, Jr. and Bob Young joined their father to run the family business. For more than 30 years, the business prospered at that locations, offering tires, auto services and electronic appliances to customers throughout Arkansas’ White County area.
In 1999, D.D. Young, Jr. retired, and the company made its expansion into a third generation. Bob was joined by sons Rob and Greg to form the current Young’s Tire & Auto. A flagship store was opened at 511 South Main Street in Searcy with 10 service bays and 20,000 square feet of floor space. Another locations was added in Cabot, followed by a third locations on Race Street in Searcy.
With more than 70 years of operations, the company continues to provide quality products with honest and dependable service in a family-style setting.
